The Face Analysis is Looking for an AI Developer Intern!
About the Company
The Face Analysis is a free facial-measurement platform that turns a selfie into measurable data, including symmetry, golden-ratio proportions, and feature-by-feature facial geometry. It also offers users the option to generate a photorealistic AI simulation showing how an aesthetic procedure could look on their own face.
The Role
The AI Developer Intern will:
- Build and improve facial-geometry calculations, including symmetry, facial ratios, and golden-ratio scoring, within the TypeScript analysis layer
- Work on WASM and MediaPipe integration and performance optimization
- Contribute to prompt engineering and pipeline logic for the company’s generative-AI simulation product using image-editing models
- Write and improve automated verification scripts
- Collaborate with the mobile team on shared Cloud Functions logic
Candidate Profile
- Is currently enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Has solid TypeScript and JavaScript fundamentals
- Is comfortable reading and reasoning about geometry- and math-heavy code
- Is familiar with Git and GitHub workflows
The candidate may also have:
- Experience with computer vision technologies such as OpenCV, MediaPipe, or similar tools
- Experience with Next.js and React
- Exposure to generative AI APIs for image or text generation
- Experience with Firebase, including Firestore and Cloud Functions
